电动偏振控制器是控制单模光纤产生各种偏振态的一种有效的工具,通过驱动器提供 4 路直流电压,电压在+/-5V 交替变化,用来动态的控制单模光纤的偏振态.5V 的直流电压提供给偏振控制器内部的光纤挤压装置,该装置会对光纤产生超过 25N 的应力,足可以使偏振态在 360 度的范围内变化.电动偏振控制器内部的3个光纤挤压装置分别和相邻的光纤挤压装置有 45 度角的偏差
