啁啾光纤光栅一般制做于普通单模光纤或是与之兼容的特殊光纤上,且长度很短,所以附加损耗很小,而且几乎不受光纤非线性影响,啁啾光纤光栅通常对信道分别进行补偿,可以通过设计,很方便在色散补偿的同时买现色散斜率补偿,并且还对放大器的ASE噪声有附加的滤波功能。容易实现器件的小型化。
